Confirmation Preparation begins with a special Day of Discernment meeting on Sun., Sept. 12, 2010 from 1-5pm . This Sacrament of initiation is about belonging and discipleship.... There will be a make-up on Sun., Sept. 26 from 1- 5pm for this initial gathering. This Day of Discernment is for the youth candidate AND a catholic parent. Youth should also be signed up for ongoing Faith Formation and be attending Mass on a somewhat regular basis.
RSVP with Mr. Drexler at 226-3232 . Meeting location on the St. Agnes campus will be based on the number of rsvp's.

Installation Mass and Picnic (Soup Supper). Sr. Karen's installation will be on Sat., Sept. 18, 2010 at the 4:00PM Mass at St. Rose Church (Lima). A picnic Dinner will follow . Please sign up to bring a crock pot of soup, bread or a dessert !! There will NOT be a 5:00PM Mass at St. Agnes that day.

Sunday Faith Formation classes for children typically run from September through roughly April. Next Fall (starting Sept. 2010) the K-5th grade schedule will be Sundays 9:00am-10:15am for class time (about 3 Sundays / month). Classes start Sept. 19, 2010. The annual Sunday Faith Formation registration forms are available to download under the "LifeLong Faith Formation" button on the left.
(Note that Junior High and Senior High have a separate schedule.
Junior High meets on Sundays from 9:00am--10:15am about three times / month. Senior High meets on Sunday late morning / early afternoon and a Sunday evevning and other special occasions for outings and projects. Please note that Junior High and Senior High have their own schedule which may vary from the dates for K-5th.)

Watch for pictues on facebook from the 15th Diocesan Youth Convention Sat., Aug 7 &/ OR Sun., Aug. 8 at the Rochester Inn & Convention Center in Henrietta, NY. Our keynoters wereJesse Manibusan and Bishop Clark. There was plenty of music, dance, prayer, workshops, keynoters, inspiring teens and fun plus the meals (Supper was my favorite!!!) It was a great way to invite our teens to "dive in" to our catholic faith.. Google Jesse Manibusan for lots of cool info or to order t-shirts and CDs..

World Youth Sunday
Sun., Oct. 25, 2009 It was great to see all the youth who participated at the Sunday Mass from greeting to lector to cantor & youth choir. Thank you Mrs. Yencer & Mr. Christiano for helping our kids share their musical gifts!!!

NCYC - Kansas City -November 2009
This is not just for kids in Youth Group! It is a leadership conference for all catholic youth (who will be in high school this fall 2009) and YOU are invited!
Come to the Parent Information Meeting. Listen to the teens that have been before. Sun., Feb. 1, 2009 (after mass - from 11:00am-noon) in the St. Agnes School Cafeteria.

If you need an annual Sunday Faith Formation registration packet for your children (grades K- Senior High) please contact Mike or Mary at 226-3232 or download the forms from the "Life-Long Faith Formation" link on the left.

Junior High and Senior High Youth Groups meet on Sundays most often (but not always) from 11:00am-12:30pm from September thru April . Junior High will again include grades 6 , 7 & 8. "Senior High" will meet at a similar but not identical schedule on Sunday evenings. Watch for the monthly schedules.
